King County Chapter Meeting

Drip Irrigation Design, Maintenance and Myths by David Ferron, Netafim USA

Drip irrigation can be one of the most efficient methods for irrigating plants. It doesn’t lose as much water to evaporation and can drip water slowly into clay soils and sloped hillsides. This "assumes" it’s designed properly.

Come learn about Drip Irrigation Design, Installation, Maintenance and Myths from one of the leaders in drip irrigation! David Ferron, Distribution Relationship Manager for Netafim USA, will teach the basics of drip design and how to maintain a drip irrigation system properly. Most importantly, he will talk about the myths that shroud drip irrigation’s existence. After the presentation, you will experience a drip irrigation demonstration in one of the shrub beds in the field at Kubota Gardens.

Lunch will be provided by Ezell's Chicken

The charge is $25 for Members and $30 for Non-Members.
