Northwest Landscape Industry Conference

The Northwest Landscape Industry Conference is an annual event, typically held in January. This Conference is WALP’s premiere event where Landscape Industry professionals come for growth and learning opportunities from an exceptional line-up of presenters representing the Industry.

The Conference offers a myriad of activities designed to connect great people with great ideas. Whether you are joining your association peers to share your leadership, energy, and enthusiasm while exploring current trends and learning first-hand what landscape professionals throughout Washington State are doing to advance their businesses, or are an industry partner attending offering information on products and services vital to the Industry, the Northwest Green Industry Conference provides exceptional experiences and essential tools that make individuals and their organizations more successful.

Landscape Technician BOOTCAMP Training

The Landscape Technician BOOTCAMP Training is a one-day event, being held at Lake Washington Institute of Technology in Kirkland, WA on March 31, 2023. With so many industries struggling to find qualified individuals, you can help improve your bottom-line by investing in employees who are trained and excel in their respective positions. One way of doing this is to have your employees participate in WALP’s professional designation programs: the Landscape Technician BOOTCAMP Training.

    WALP Golf Tournament

The WALP Golf Tournament is a one-day annual event, typically held in Late July/early August. Summer days are filled with social events, but WALP’s Golf Tournament is one that must not be missed! Members and their guests tee off on an area golf course and compete for bragging rights amongst their colleagues and peers. A post-tournament reception offers ample opportunity for visiting, networking, and awards.

      WALP Field Day

Field day is a one-day annual event, typically held in July. This special “hands-on” event provides landscaping professionals the opportunity to not only see products in person like at a regular trade show but to actually operate many of the items being displayed. By attending you will also be given the opportunity to:

      • “Try before they buy”
      • Learn about new products you might have
      • Network with you and other suppliers
      • Compare products/equipment side-by-side

And although Field Day is a chance to use and test out many different pieces of equipment, it’s much more than that! Other Field Day activities you won’t want to miss include:

      • Industry demonstrations
      • Education sessions
      • Lunch
      • Opportunity to win drawings

      Chapter Meetings

During the course of the year, WALP’s Local Chapters conduct Chapter Meetings that emphasizes educational speakers and topics – further helping to advance the professionalism of individuals in the Green Industry.

        Legislative Day

Legislative Day is a one-day annual event, typically held in February. Be heard in Olympia! Join your trade association in one of the most important days of the year for Landscaping Professionals!
