Annual Meetings & Events
The Washington Association of Landscape Professionals offers many event opportunities to our members and guests. Our events range from Meetings to Conferences, and everything in between. Below are an overview of our annual events.
Northwest Landscape Industry Conference, Trade Show & Awards Banquet
The Northwest Landscape Industry Conference, Trade Show & Awards Banquet is an annual event, this year being held from February 6 – 8 2025 at Hotel Indigo Everett. This Conference is WALP’s premiere event where Landscape Industry professionals come for growth and learning opportunities from an exceptional line-up of presenters representing the Industry.
The Conference offers a myriad of activities designed to connect great people with great ideas. Whether you are joining your association peers to share your leadership, energy, and enthusiasm while exploring current trends and learning first-hand what landscape professionals throughout Washington State are doing to advance their businesses, or are an industry partner attending offering information on products and services vital to the Industry, the Northwest Green Industry Conference provides exceptional experiences and essential tools that make individuals and their organizations more successful.
Landscape Technician BOOTCAMP Training
The Landscape Technician BOOTCAMP Training is a one-day event, being held at Lake Washington Institute of Technology in Kirkland, WA in March, 2025. With so many industries struggling to find qualified individuals, you can help improve your bottom-line by investing in employees who are trained and excel in their respective positions. One way of doing this is to have your employees participate in WALP’s professional designation programs: the Landscape Technician BOOTCAMP Training.
WALP Golf Tournament
The WALP Golf Tournament is a one-day annual event, typically held in Late July/early August. Summer days are filled with social events, but WALP’s Golf Tournament is one that must not be missed! Members and their guests tee off on an area golf course and compete for bragging rights amongst their colleagues and peers. A post-tournament reception offers ample opportunity for visiting, networking, and awards.
WALP Field Day
Currently, the WALP Field Day has been retired.
WALP Meetings
During the course of the year, WALP conducts regional meetings that emphasizes educational speakers and topics – further helping to advance the professionalism of individuals in the Green Industry.
