Rain Bird Irrigation Training

Below is a list of all the classes being held at this location. Each class costs $335.

The trainings provided are:

    • Drainage Technician - April 24, 2018 8:00 am-12:00pm
      • This course is designed for any irrigation professional to learn about the basics and beyond of landscape drainage systems. Attendees will learn about how to use the entire Rain Bird drainage product line along with industry standard tools for setting lines. 

    • Residential Controller Technician - April 24, 2018 1:00 pm-5:00pm
      • This course offers irrigation contractors the solution to a water-efficient residential irrigation system control. Rain Bird's residential and light commercial controller line contains the features necessary to efficiently irrigate a property with minimal ongoing changes. This class will cover programming techniques od three different Rain Bird res/com controller products. This class will also cover basic troubleshooting techniques for traditionally wired controllers. 

    • ESP-LX (Series) Operator - April 25, 2018 8:00 am-12:00 pm
      • This training will teach students how to program and operate the ESP-LXME controller and the ESP-LXD two-wire decoder controller. Students will also learn proper hand-on installation techniques including wiring, splicing and stem troubleshooting with an AC leakage clamp meter.

    • Decoder Technician - April 25, 2018 1:00 pm-5:00 pm
      • This class will introduce students to decoder systems in general, design principles, and installation techniques. Additional emphasis will be given to the grouping techniques and using simple decoder systems for hands-on operation and troubleshooting.

    • IQ v3.0 Cloud Operator -  April 26, 2018 8:00 am-12:00 pm
      • This training introduces the IQ v3.0 cloud central control software and its primary functions related to basic and advanced irrigation operation, monitoring, programming, and reporting. Programming complexity is equal to that of the standalone irrigation control program. 

    • IQ v3.0 Cloud Technician - April 25, 2018 1:00 pm-5:00 pm
      • This training introduces and defines the role of the IQ 3.0 system hardware components. Hands-on installation activities include communication between the systems and the network communication cartridge.
